Hello everyone! Eri here and I'm gonna tell you the rules of the site. They should be really easy to follow, so don't be worried. Just make sure to look all of them over before making your profile or character~!
This isn't a super hard rule to follow but please be careful how you do certain actions on this site. With pretty much every role play site, you need to make sure your characters aren't overpowered. Your actions in threads should also be under control as well. If a staff says that you are god-modding and that you need to stop, you need to listen to them. I will allow staff to choose what they consider as god-modding.
I don't want to see any bullying of any kind on this site. Much like with god-modding, I'm gonna allow staff to basically decide what is bullying and what is not. If there is a conflict, please come to staff to get it settled. Going with this rule as well, make sure to keep personal drama away from the site. It's okay to mention personal life stuff in the chat, but please leave drama at home. Make sure to also not make such a fuss in the chatbox.
When making your characters, make sure to check what Characters haven't already been taken. After your character has been accepted, make sure to post in Face Claims, Members Directory, and Canon Claims. OCs will be allowed but they must be human-based and cannot be made as if they are from a nintendo series. For example, if you want to make a psychic human with fighting capabilities, you can due to the fact that Tokyo is included in this universe, but you can't make some random princess from the Mario universe that no one has ever heard of. Some OCs from Nintendo properties might be let in but please talk to staff about it before putting anything like that up. Also, when it comes to history, it's optional, but that doesn't mean you can't always get away without doing the history. Most of the main canons of Smash won't need bios, but if you decide to go with a more obscure character from Nintendo, make sure to at least give a brief history. That's all I ask.
This means that there won't be too much violence or sex content on the site. When it comes to violence, don't go too in detail about it. A little blood here and there is fine but please don't be tearing people's limbs off. When it comes to sexual content, just please don't post anything explicit on the site. I'm totally okay with pairing characters but please, leave it at some slightly suggestive comments and maybe a fade out. Don't go into detail about anything sexual.
This really isn't a rule, but please be sure to keep your activity up. I'm not the best with activity either (Trust me, if you know me, you'd know~!) but we need to keep this site going! All I'm asking for is try to post once a week. There will be a lot of canon characters that will be needed to be taken up, so we need all those canons as active as possible. If you need to leave for any reason/won't be on the site anymore, try to contact an admin or moderator. Every month, there will be an activity check to see how everyone is doing. If you do not show up for the activity check, your account(s) will be deleted. Please be sure to get those Activity Checks done!
This is pretty easy to follow, just make sure to tag your threads. You can use multiple tags for one thread. These are all of the available tags:
[Open] - This means that anyone can invade your post. Usually talk to someone before jumping in the middle of a thread, but pretty much this means anyone can join.
[Character Name(s)] - This means that those specific characters and who ever started the thread are the only ones allowed to join that thread.
[Duel] - Simple fighting between two or more characters. Not all threads should be duels and I encourage there be more non-duel threads then duel threads.
[Closed] - This means that the thread is done and over with. No more posting inside a thread with this tag.
[Event] - this means exactly what it says: an event is being held in that thread. Come join those threads~!
[Private] - This can be a one off post with a certain character. Threads with this tag means that the character is alone and no one else will be able to post.
OC characters will not be allowed for now. It's very difficult to include OCs in a huge universe such as this. Now, with that said, any character from the Nintendo universe is up to be used. When I say any, I pretty much anything you can think of. So, while you won't be allowed to use OCs, you have the entire Nintendo universe at your disposal. Also, we will have contests that will allow winners to include non-Nintendo characters, similar to the Ryu DLC.
I don't mind accepting profiles before they even make it into the Notification board, but as the site starts to get bigger and bigger, I won't be able to do that. Also, I and others still have school and real-life things to do and if you don't notify us that your profile is done, we might forget about it or loose track of it. Make sure to always post the profile in the Notification Boards! It helps us out a lot!
